Latar Belakang

Ketika manajemen perusahaan memiliki komitmen yang tinggi dalam hal implementasi safety program, maka hal yang urgent adalah menentukan kebutuhan, jenis, dan perencanaan akan training – training yang harus dilakukan di internal perusahaan. Baik menggunakan sumber daya yang ada di internal perusahaan atau menggandeng training provider yang qualified untuk bidangnya.

Jadi perlu ada mekanisme internal menyangkut pendidikan dan pelatihan bidang safety yang terstruktur dan terencana.

Sedangkan sementara ini, seringkali kita temukan pemahaman safety sepotong – sepotong sehingga satu sama lain belum terintegrasi dengan baik. Bahkan timbul beberapa ambigu di tataran pelaksana, khususnya karyawan operasional yang memiliki tingkat resiko kerja yang tinggi.

Oleh karena materi training safety meiliki spesifikasi dan criteria yang bersifat pemahaman dan pelaksanaan, maka perencanaan yang berkaitan dengan pelaksanaan training, metode, evaluasi dan pelaporan menjadi sangat penting.

DESCRIPTION

Fuel injection is a system for admitting fuel into an internal combustion engine. It has become the primary fuel delivery system used in automotive petrol engines, having almost completely replaced carburetors in the late 1980s.
A fuel injection system is designed and calibrated specifically for the types of fuel it will handle. Most fuel injection systems are for gasoline or diesel applications. With the advent of electronic fuel injection (EFI), the diesel and gasoline hardware has become similar. EFI’s programmable firmware has permitted common hardware to be used with different fuels.  Carburetors were the predominant method used to meter fuel on gasoline engines before the widespread use of fuel injection. A variety of injection systems have existed since the earliest usage of the internal combustion engine.  The primary difference between carburetors and fuel injection is that fuel injection atomizes the fuel by forcibly pumping it through a small nozzle under high pressure, while a carburetor relies on suction created by intake air rushing through a venturi to draw the fuel into the airstream. This course is designed to aid the driveability technician in performing proper basic and advanced tests in diagnosing common driveability issues found on vehicles today.  Use of service information and tools such as understanding fuel related data parameters using a scan tool found in todays vehicles are instructed. Technicians are also demonstrated tests on a live vehicle. In the ladder half of the course, technicians are instructed on each critical sensor their operation, and how they are tested using a multimeter and lab scope.

This specially designed course will be conducted by Hilman Ahmad & Associates, an Independent Consultant in industrial oil and gas, member of the Society of Indonesian Petroleum Engineers, who manage the Professional Industrial Oil & Gas Education Center, and has been practicing production operation & safety and corrosion control engineering in Indonesia for more than twenty-five years. He post-graduated from Tokyo Institute of Technology (sponsored by UNESCO) in 1977. He joined in-field-practice program at Nippon Kokan Steel Company & Research Center Kawasaki, Japan for production facility design & construction and corrosion prevention & control in 1983, and collaborated with Cormon Industrial Research Center Brighton UK for on-line corrosion monitoring development in 2000. He has been delivering training course in production operation, maintenance & safety and corrosion control for personnel from Oil & Gas Company and Petrochemical Industry since 1979.

IOSH Managing Safely Objectives

Examination Information
The IOSH Managing Safely course is assessed by:

A short written/objective multiple-choice paper.
A workplace based written assignment.
Delegates, who attend and successfully complete both the practical and written assessments, will be awarded the Managing Safety certificate, issued by the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) in the UK. The practical assessment must be completed in the delegate’s workplace and submitted within two weeks of completing the course. A minimum pass grade of 70% is required for certification.
