Ir.Endra Joelianto, Ph.D. is an expert in control engineering and industrial automation. His outstanding research is: Hybrid Control Systems, Discrete Event Control Systems, Petri Nets Analysis and Application on PLC, Robust and Advanced PID Controller and its implementation on PLC, DCS, Fieldbus, Industrial automation and Advanced Control System Designs. He received first degree (Ir.) in Engineering Physics in 1990 from Department of Engineering Physics, ITB and Doctor of Philosofy (PhD.) in Control Engineering in 2001 from Department of Engineering, The Australian National University, Canberra, Australia.  He is Head of Intelligent Control and Automation Laboratory and Coordinator of PLC Research Group for research and training, Engineering Physics Study Program and Instrumentation and Control Research Division, Institut Teknologi Bandung. He was Director of Schneider-OMRON PLC Training Center, Maranatha Christian University, Bandung.  He has attended several professional training on PLC, DCS and Instruments Callibration, such as: Yokogawa DCS, Bandung (2000), Implementation of Indonesian National Standard (SNI) 19-17025 and Basic Calibration, Yokogawa Electric Corporation, Bandung (2001), Fieldbus Foundation Technology, Singapore (2002), Basic and Advanced PLC Telemecanique-TWIDO, Bandung (2003), Basic and Advanced PLC OMRON, Jakarta (2004), Cleaner Production Application in Industries (Bandung 2005), Effective Energy Systems for Sustainable Development (Thailand 2006), Programming and Networking PLC Mitsubishi (2006), InTouch Wonderware, Wonderware Historian and Information Server (Bandung, 2012).

Sistem Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) merupakan suatu pengetahuan teknis yang banyak digunakan dalam system dan proses-proses di industri, seperti  pada  Power System: Generation-Transmission-Distribution. Proses pengumpulan data, pelaporan dari production lines, penanganan material maupun proses lain dalam tahapan produksi akan menjadi mudah apabila menggunakan sistem SCADA ini. Deskripsi Training Quality Control Engineer For Oil and Gas Company

Mutu adalah kesesuaian antara pekerjaan yang dilakukan dengan persyaratan (requirements). Suatu pekerjaan disebut bermutu jika sesuai dengan gambar, spesifikasi dan berfungsi dengan baik. Mutu sangat penting karena sudah menjadi tuntutan, yaitu diperolehnya hasil pekerjaan yang aman dan nyaman digunakan. Hasil pekerjaan yang tidak memenuhi persyaratan akan sangat merugikan karena dapat menyebabkan pekerjaan ulang (rework), hasil yang tidak awet bahkan dapat membahayakan. Penyimpangan mutu juga dapat berujung pada masalah hukum yang tentunya tidak diinginkan oleh semua pihak. Deskripsi Training Distributed Control System (DCS)

Distributed Control System (DCS) merupakan sistem kontrol yang mampu menghimpun (mengakuisisi) data dari lapangan dan memutuskan akan diapakan data tersebut, secara singkat DCS -> ambil/baca data + lakukan pengontrolan berdasar data tersebut. Data-data yang telah diakuisisi (diperoleh) dari lapangan bisa disimpan untuk rekaman atau keperluan-keperluan masa datang, atau digunakan dalam proses-proses saat itu juga, atau bisa juga, digabung dengan data-data dari bagian lain proses, untuk kontrol lajutan dari proses yang bersangkutan.

 

Tujuan Training Distributed Control System (DCS)

Peserta akan memahami:

  • berbagai jenis alat ukur di lapangan
  • Jenis-jenis kesalahan yang mengikuti proses pengukuran
  • kesalahan yang muncul akibat sifat material sensor
  • prinsip kerja alat-alat ukur dari berbagai jenis
  • cara kerja dan sifat fisik dari sensor
  • teori dasar pengukuran dan kendali
  • teori dasar statistik dan analisis data

 

Materi Training Distributed Control System (DCS)

1. Operator Console

Alat ini mirip monitor komputer. Digunakan untuk memberikan informasi umpan balik tentang apa yang sedang dikerjakan atau dilakukan dalam pabrik, selain itu juga bisa menampilkan perintah yang diberikan pada sistem kontrol. Melalui konsol ini juga, operator memberikan perintah pada instrumen-instrumen di lapangan.

2. Engineering Station

Ini adalah stasion2 untuk para teknisi yang digunakan untuk mengkonfigurasi sistem dan juga mengimplementasi algoritma pengontrolan.

3. History Module

Alat ini mirip dengan harddisk pada komputer. Alat ini digunakan untuk menyimpan konfigurasi DC dan juga konfigurasi semua titik di pabrik. Alat ini juga bisa digunakan untuk menyimpan berkas-berkas grafik yang ditampilkan di konsol dan banyak sistem saat ini mampu menyimpan data-data operasional pabrik.

4. Data Historian.

Biasanya berupa perangkat lunak yang digunakan untuk menyimpan variabel2 proses, set point dan nilai-nilai keluaran. Perangkat lunak ini memiliki kemammpuan laju scan yang tinggi dibandingkan History Module.

5. Control Module.

Ini seperti otaknya Distributed Control System (DCS). Disinilah fungsi-fungsi kontrol dijalankan, seperti kontrol PID, kontrol pembandingan, kontrol rasio, operasi-operasi aritmatika sederhana maupun kompensasi dinamik. Saat ini sudah ada peralatan modul kontrol yang lebih canggih dengan kemampuan yang lebih luas.

6. I/O

Bagian ini digunakan untuk menangani masukan dan luaran dari Distributed Control System (DCS). Masukan dan luaran tersebut bisa analog, bisa juga digital. Masukan/luaran digital seperti sinyal-sinyal ON/OFF atau Start/Stop. Kebanyakan dari pengukuran proses dan luaran terkontrol merupakan jenis analog.

Ir. Endra Joelianto, Ph.D. is an expert in control engineering and industrial automation. He was Director of Schneider-OMRON PLC Training Center, Maranatha Christian University, Bandung. He has attended several professional training on PLC, DCS and Instruments Callibration, such as: Yokogawa DCS, Bandung (2000), Implementation of Indonesian National Standard (SNI) 19-17025 and Basic Calibration, Yokogawa Electric Corporation, Bandung (2001), Fieldbus Foundation Technology, Singapore (2002), Basic and Advanced PLC Telemecanique-TWIDO, Bandung (2003), Basic and Advanced PLC OMRON, Jakarta (2004), Cleaner Production Application in Industries (Bandung 2005), Effective Energy Systems for Sustainable Development (Thailand 2006), Programming and Networking PLC Mitsubishi (2006), InTouch Wonderware, Wonderware Historian and Information Server (Bandung, 2012). Deskripsi Training

Deskripsi Training Statistical Process Control (SPC)

Pemanfaatan Statistical Process Control (SPC) menempati posisi yang paling penting dalam operasi perusahaan karena salah satu elemen penting dari manajemen mutu modern adalah membuat keputusan berdasarkan data (fakta) dan bukan berdasarkan pada opini. Manajemen harus memastikan bahwa setiap keputusan yang diambil merupakan hasil analisa dari berbagai data yang menggambarkan performansi/kinerja yang sesungguhnya.  SPC memiliki kemampuan untuk menggambarkan segala bentuk penyimpangan/ ketidaksesuaian maupun kesesuaian terhadap standar (produk, proses maupun sistem). SPC berguna untuk mengidentifikasi permasalahan atau kejadian yang tidak lazim, sehingga bisa diambil tindakan yang sesuai untuk mengendalikan kinerja proses sekarang ini, serta meramalkan kinerja yang akan datang dan menyarankan tindakan perbaikan yang diperlukan.
