Electric Power System Protection Training Description

Construction of generation plants, transmission and distribution of electrical energy systems is a costly business. At both levels of national grid systems and local industrial plants, two important aspects are at the heart of this strategic industry. These are the reliability of energy delivery to meet customers’ demands and safe operation. At different stages of energy processing i.e. at the generation, transmission and energy delivery stage, protection of personnel and equipment is of prime importance. To achieve these goals, protection schemes are to be employed. The philosophy adopted in any protection scheme is to clear faults with a minimum system disruption, at a high speed, and in a simple and economical way. The course deals with different types of protection schemes used in large networks and those adopted in industrial plants. It describes some of the important components such as relays, comparators and other protective gears, and techniques and calculations used for their settings. The course also reflects on recent development and what are new in this important field of electricity industry.

ELECTRICAL POWER SYSTEM ANALYSIS TRAINING PURPOSE

The purpose of this course is to develop a thorough understanding of power system analysis and design as well as the overall capabilities of Power Station. Class room discussion, and problem-solving has been designed to provide the analytical techniques necessary to solve a wide variety of practical problem. In this 5-day course the participant will :

    • Be able to calculate basic calculation of electrical power system

    • Learn and better understanding of monitoring system and control
    • Learn and better understanding effect of load in power system

The purpose of this course is to develop a thorough understanding of power system analysis and design as well as the overall capabilities of Power Station. Class room discussion, and problem-solving has been designed to provide the analytical techniques necessary to solve a wide variety of practical problem. In this 5-day course the participant will :

ABSTRACK

The electrical acceptance testing and commissioning of electric power systems is essential to the start up of any electrical system for the first time, regardless of its size, type or industry. It is a very special occurrence and poses some unique challenges to electrical personnel. Inexperience and poor planning will inevitably result in prolonged delays in the start up which can lead to costly productivity losses. This course provides invaluable information to anyone who wishes to know and understand the role of Electrical Acceptance Testing, Commissioning and Start-up of Electrical Power Distribution Systems. The importance of planning and preparation for the project, from engineering to commissioning and start up, will be emphasized. COURSE DESCRIPTION Rotating Equipment: Operation, Maintenance, & Trouble shooting

          Mekanisme sistem kerja pada peralatan electrichal  mechanical industri rata-rata menggunakan sistem penggerak berotasi (putaran).  Para engineer atau operator harus dapat memahami dengan benar cara kerja, struktural atau desain peralatan dan SOP penggunaan alat. Sistem rotasi alat harus dapet terdefinisikan dengan pasti, sifat rotasi, poros & putarannya, hingga ke peralatan yang terkait pada sistem rotasi tersebut seperti pompa, kompresor, turbin juga blower.

Pengetahuan tersebut akan membantu untuk dapat  melakukan perawatan dan pemeliharaan alat dengan maksimal, selain itu juga dapat mengetahui menganalisa hasil kerja peralatan ataupun jika ada trouble shooting / kerusakan pada alat dapat dengan segera mendeteksi & memperbaiki kinerja peralatan seperti semula.
