INTRODUCTION PROJECT MANAGEMENT OFFICE (PMO)

Manajemen  Proyek  merupakan  seni  dalam  mengelola  suatu  proyek  baik  itu  pekerjaannya sendiri maupun semua pihak yang terkait di dalamnya sedangkan Proyek itu sendiri adalah suatu pekerjaan yang sifatnya dibatasi oleh waktu, biaya dan sumber daya, sehingga dengan keterbatasan ini diharapkan semua pihak yang terkait dapat mengelola proyek dari setiap tahapan dengan hasil yang baik. Menurut penelitian bahwa sebagaian besar proyek mengalami keterlambatan yang diakibatkan beberapa faktor antara lain : perencanaan yang kurang bagus, pengawasan yang tidak ba gus, lokasi dan social budaya sekitar, komunikasi dari semua pihak yang terkait dan banyak hal lain. Untuk itu pemahaman tentang manajemen proyek sangatlah penting sebelum terlibat langsung dalam suatu proyek, baik sebagai subkontraktor, kontaktor utama, pemilik proyek, pengawas proyek maupun pembuat kebijakan/regulasi.
