DESKRIPSI TRAINING PROJECT MANAGEMENT

DESKRIPSI PELATIHAN

Pelatihan PMP Fundamentals ini dirancang secara khusus untuk memberikan pemahaman yang dalam mengenai terminologi, konsep dan metodologi Project Management. Pendekatan The hands-on approach dari pelatihan ini memastikan para peserta melakukan   “learning by doing” dan memperoleh  a step-by-step, real-time experience penggunaan tools dan mengimplementasikan metodologi dan mendukung struktur metodologi tersebut. Dalam simulasi real-life environments, para peserta akan memperoleh  the detailed knowledge yang berjumlah 10 yang diperlukan ketika akan menerapkannya ke lingkungan kerja.

Pelatihan PMP Fundamentals juga dirancang bersifat praktis sehingga membantu para peserta mampu menerapkannya ke lingkungan kerja. Pelatihan tersebut menggunakan referensi berstandar internasional yaitu PMBOK 5th Edition 2013, PMI –USA dan juga referensi akan membantu para peserta mempersiapkan diri untuk ikut ujian PMP Certification – PMI, USA.

Pelatihan ini difasilitasi oleh trainer yang berpengalaman dan pemegang sertifikasi internasional di bidang Project Management. Informasi profil trainer untuk PMP Fundamentals  ada di bagian akhir silabus ini. Soft copy tools dan template yang sesuai dengan PMBOK akan diperoleh para peserta dan dapat digunakan di tempat kerja. Pelatihan selama 3 hari ini (24 jam pembelajaran) berdasarkan PMBOK 5th Edition 2013.

  • Memahami the purpose, inputs dan outputs dari the core processes di masing-masing 5 process groups: Initiating, Planning, Execution, Control & Closing.
  • Mempelajari mengenai the 10 knowledge areas dari Project Management yaitu: (Integration, Scope, Time, Cost, Quality, Human Resources, Communications, Risk, Procurement & Professional, Social Responsibility & Stakeholder Management). Memahami bagaimana setiap knowledge area berkontribusi ke dalam project mulai dari awal sampai akhir project, dan mengetahui bagaimana membuat the key deliverables pada setiap stage.
  • Mempelajari bagaimana melakukan Scope a Project secara jelas dengan menggunakan a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), dan bagaimana mekanisme penggunaannya untuk mengontrol perubahan apapun terhadap the Project Scope.
  • Mempelajari different techniques untuk melakukan estimasi schedule dan effort, memahami the different factors yang harus dipertimbangkan ketika pindah dari an initial estimate melalui a detailed plan sehingga dapat dibuat a commitment.
  • Mempelajari bagaimana mengidentifikasi dan menganalisa resiko-resiko project, dan bagaimana menghindari risks daripada melakukan recovery akibat dari risks tersebut. Mempelajari secara cepat membuat Risk Register untuk organisasi anda dan bagaimana mempersiapkan the best response terhadap  types of risk yang berbeda-beda.
  • Mempelajari tentang Program Governance, dan bagaimana membuat a Phase-Gate approval system yang memastikan identifikasi awal project problems.
  • Mempelajari bagaimana menerapkan pembelajaran ini ke real-life environment melalui penggunaan case studies dan working exercises berdasarkan realistic problems adan  real-life project scenarios yang sering kita temui di sector-sektor  IT, Construction, Retail, Financial Banking dan
  • Mempelajari key project management techniques, bagaimana dan kapan menggunakannya. Contoh-contoh tools dan techniques termasuk Budget, Risk Analysis, Scheduling, Gantt Chart, Contingency dan Change Control. Mempelajari bagaimana menerapkan techniques ini untuk mencapai improved performance dari the entire team, agar bisa mencapai  organisational performance dan capability yang lebih baik.
  • Memahami Project Management Technical Skills dan Tools seperti Microsoft Project Professional, methodologies seperti Work Breakdown Structures, Phase Gates, Monte Carlo Simulation Analysis dan a robust Project Governance system.

AGENDA DAN PEMBAHASAN TRAINING PMP (PROJECT MANAGEMENT PROFESSIONAL) FUNDAMENTALS TRAINING

Pelatihan ini menyajikan detailed insight ke dalam Project Management best practices, yang membahas semua (10) knowledge areas yang dispesifikasikan oleh PMI. Pelatihan ini memberikan para peserta a set of tools dan knowledge yang dapat diaplikasikan segera untuk membantu mereka mengelola their workload dan men-deliver their projects tepat waktu, mengimplementasikan methodologies dan  support structures. General

  • Explain the structure of the Project Management Body Of Knowledge V5.0.
  • Discuss the skills required to apply PM theory to real-life projects.

Integration

  • Describe an overall framework for project integration management as it relates to the other project management knowledge areas and the project life cycle.
  • Explain the importance of creating a project charter to formally initiate projects.

Scope

  • Understand the elements that make good project scope management important.
  • Explain the scope definition process and how to construct a work breakdown structure.
  • Understand the importance of scope control.

Time

  • Explain how to construct network diagrams and calculate Project Critical Paths and Float.
  • Explain how to build a Schedule Gantt chart with activities, dependencies and milestones.

 

DAY 2

Cost

  • Explain project cost management principles, concepts, and terms.
  • Understand Earned Value Management and be able to apply the technique to real projects.

Quality

  • Define project quality management and understand how quality standards relate to projects.
  • Understand the tools and techniques for quality control, E.g. Pareto, Ishikawa, Six Sigma.

HR

  • Define project human resource management and understand its processes.
  • Summarize key concepts for managing people by understanding the theories of Maslow, Herzberg, McClelland, McGregor et al on motivation, influencing becoming more effective.

Communications

  • Explain how to create a stakeholder communications management plan.
  • Describe various methods for distributing project information.

 

DAY 3

Risk

  • Explore different qualitative and quantitative measures to analyse risk.
  • Describe different methods of dealing with risks, so that project success is maximised.

Procurement

  • Explain the different types of contracts and when they apply.

Stakeholders

  • The processes required to identify the people, groups or organisations that could impact or be impacted by the project, to analyse stakeholder expectations and their impact on the project, and to develop appropriate management strategies for effectively engaging stakeholders in project decisions and execution.

Deskripsi Pelatihan Software Microsoft Project

Pelatihan ini bertujuan agar peserta mampu mengelola proyek menggunakan Software Microsoft project, yang merupakan perangkat lunak untuk  perencanaaan (planning), pelaksanaan (updating) dan pengendalian (controlling)  dalam hal waktu dan biaya dalam sebuah proyek.  Aktivitas proyek dapat terjadi di segala bidang, baik proyek fisik (infrastruktur) seperti proyek pembelian peralatan, pemasangan fasilitas, pendirian pabrik baru maupun non fisik seperti proyek pengembangan produk baru, perancangan struktur organisasi, pembuatan sistem informasi manajemen dan peningkatan produktivitas perusahaan. This course will offer an overview of the Project Management Office (PMO). The course is designed is based on the perspective of improving project delivery is only one metric of a PMO’s success, it is an important measure. Businesses that have established PMOs need to ensure the PMO is providing expected results, and adding value to the business. This course will provide strategies and tactics to enable process improvement for a currently established Project Management Office.

The course shall provide the capabilities to the participants in determining how best to use the Project Management Office (PMO) for organization advantage and how to develop and use a competency model for project professionals. Program Description:

PRINCE2® (Projects IN Controlled Environments) is a process-based approach for project management providing an easily tailored and scalable method for the management of all types of projects. PRINCE2® is recognized as a world-class international product and is the defacto standard method for project management throughout the world. The PRINCE2® method is in the public domain, offering nonproprietary, best practice guidance on project management.

The PRINCE2® Foundation course will provide delegates with a detailed knowledge of the PRINCE2® methodology including the seven processes, seven themes, and seven principles central to running a project using the PRINCE2® method. The successful completion of the Foundation exam will give the delegate a recognized Foundation qualification. The Foundation level measures whether a delegate would be able to act as an informed member of a project management team using the PRINCE2® method within a project environment supporting PRINCE2®.



Program Objectives:

At the end of the program, the participants will be able to:

  • Learn, understand, and use the most important concepts of the PRINCE2® method
  • Monitor a project within the boundaries of the Project Plan
  • Participate effectively in a project in accordance with the PRINCE2® method
  • Describe the purpose and major content of all roles, the seven themes, the seven processes and sub-processes, and the seven principles
  • State which management products are input to or output from the seven processes
  • State the main purpose and key contents of the major management products
  • State the relationships between processes, deliverables, roles, and the management dimensions of a project
  • Lay a firm Foundation knowledge to allow delegates to move onto Practitioner Level
  • Understand the level of responsibility, authority, and accountability held by those involved in the project
  • Articulate the steps needed to guide the project through controlled, well-managed, and visible sets of activities to achieve the desired results

Requirement:

There is no pre-requisite for this program.



Assessment:

At the end of the program, the participants will be assessed with 60 minutes of PRINCE2® Foundation Exam.



Award:

PRINCE2® Foundation Certification will be awarded upon successfully passing the exam from APMG International.
