DESKRIPSI TRAINING MAINTENANCE PLANNING AND SCHEDULING

Maintenance Planning and Scheduling is designed to build competency in Work Control as a primary skill set in the Competency Map for Facilities Maintenance Management. The course will focus on the six phases of work management (work identification, planning, prioritization, scheduling, execution and history capture). Also covered will be: optimizing preventive and condition-monitoring activities, critical equipment analysis and critical spares control, managing shutdowns/turnarounds, emergency response work, and developing meaningful Key Performance Indicators. The objective of this course is to develop a sound understanding of work control so that delegates’ work management systems can be improved and streamlined to gain the results of higher productivity, greater equipment/process reliability, and lower operational costs. Critical issues, relevant to the participant’s own experiences, are identified and analyzed to maximize effectiveness and equipment care standards.

Deskripsi Training Maintenance Integrated Planning

Manajemen perencanaan yang matang akan berdampak pada tercapainya semua tujuan yang telah dirancang oleh sebuah Industri. Dengan tercapainya semua tujuan tersebut maka akan mendatangkan kepuasan bagi semua lini yang terlibat didalamya tidak terkecuali bagi investor. Hal ini akan mendorong kemajuan yang pesat bagi industry tersebut.

Kendala yang sering ditemui adalah banyaknya perubahan lingkup kerja sehingga mengakibatkan pembengkakan biaya, keterlambatan rencana produksi, dan kurangnya mutu pekerjaan. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan perencanaan yang matang untuk mengantisipasi kemungkinan resiko buruk yang akan muncul. Perencanaan yang matang sebaiknya dirancang berdasarkan pengalaman yang pernah didapatkan dengan mengambil pembelajaran penting dari pengalaman sebelumnya.

DESKRIPSI

Salah satu tujuan perusahaan adalah profit, Profit banyak digerogoti oleh biaya-biaya, diantaranya biaya maintenance. Peningkatan biaya maintenance diakibatkan oleh meningkatnya jumlah kerusakan mesin. Oleh sebab itu System Maintenance sangat diperlukan untuk menurunkan jumlah kerusakan mesin.
Banyak perusahaan telah melakukan system MAINTENANCE di bagian Produksi
(Autonomous Maintenance) maupun bagian Maintenance (Planned Maintenance), tetapi system tersebut belum menunjukan jumlah penurunan kerusakan mesin produksi yang significant.
Hal ini, dikarenakan tidak dilakukannya aktifitas check Maintenance secara tepat dan konsisten. Ketidak konsistenan ini disebabkan oleh item check Maintenance yang tidak di-Visualisasi secara efektif.

PENDAHULUAN

Untuk menangani mesin dan peralatan produksi yang dimiliki pabrik diperlukan sistem pendukung yang efektif dan efisien mengingat kecanggihan dan harga mesin dan peralatan tersebut. Salah satu pendukung departemen yang mendukung sistem produksi tersebut adalah departemen pemeliharaan. Keterlibatan tim perawatan selain dalam hal kerusakan, perbaikan, dan service, juga sewaktu diadakan instalasi mesin dan peralatan yang baru, pengetesan penerimaan mesin (acceptance test), perawatan preventif, dan rekalibrasi mesin.

Perencanaan perawatan sebagai proses pemilihan informasi dan pembuatan asumsi mengenai keadaan di masa yang akan datang guna mengembangkan lintasan kegiatan perawatan, reparasi, dan pekerjaan overhaul. Penjadwalan dalam perawatan adalah penjadwalan dalam sistem kerja perawatan merupakan rencana kerja yang tersusun dan saling terkait satu sama lainnya dengan berbasis waktu guna mengefektifkan kerja, sehingga akan diperoleh hasil yang baik berdampak pada laju produktivitas.

Untuk mendukung sistem produksi yang memadai diperlukan tenaga kerja yang handal atau peningkatan keahlian tenaga kerja profesi Perencanaan dan Penjadwalan Perawatan.

OVERVIEW MAINTENANCE PLANNING, SCHEDULING, COST CONTROL AND OUTAGE MANAGEMENT

Maintenance Planning, Scheduling, Cost Control and Outage Management is designed to build competency in Work Control as a primary skill set in the Competency Map for Facilities Maintenance Management. The course will focus on the six phases of work management (work identification, planning, prioritization, scheduling, execution and history capture). Also covered will be: optimizing preventive and condition-monitoring activities, critical equipment analysis and critical spares control, managing shutdowns/turnarounds, emergency response work, and developing meaningful Key Performance Indicators. The objective of this course is to develop a sound understanding of work control so that delegates’ work management systems can be improved and streamlined to gain the results of higher productivity, greater equipment/process reliability, and lower operational costs. Critical issues, relevant to the participant’s own experiences, are identified and analyzed to maximize effectiveness and equipment care standards.

TRAINING INTRODUCTION MAINTENANCE PLANNING AND SCHEDULING

The advancement in technology has tremendously increased the efficiency, product quality and production capacity of production plants to meet the market demands and competitions. However, it also has increased the complexity of the equipments as well as the procedures and efforts to operate and maintain the equipments. Unawareness of this development leads to jeopardizing the increased efficiency and production capacity.

Current maintenance management in Indonesia shows that most of maintenance activities are breakdown repair, which is never efficient. Breakdown repairs also result in a loss of production capacity as well as a long downtime. An effective maintenance Planning and Scheduling will reduce the amount of breakdown repairs and shifting it to a higher proportion of preventive maintenance. Maintenance units without a good planning and scheduling will utilize only about 25% of the available time of the technician, while a good planning and scheduling will double this percentage by eliminating and reducing anticipated delays.

This course explain why and how to achieve the doubling of percentage of “wrench time”, the actual time where technicians conducting maintenance activities. The Planning Principles are the core of the improvement. The Basics of Planning describes the methods to develop a work order, identify the scope of the work, the required skills, parts and tools. Scheduling has also Principles and method that must be followed in order to reach the doubling. Furthermore, performance indicators will be discussed to measure and evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of maintenance Planning and Scheduling. This course is closed with the method to manage the budget, resources and to implement predictive maintenance.

TRAINING INSTRUCTOR

Dr. Ir. Edy Suwondo is a lecturer at the Aerospace Engineering Department, Institute Technology of Bandung (ITB) and a member of the Aircraft Design, Operation and Maintenance Research Group, ITB. He has been working in the area of maintenance since 1992. His expertise is in Reliability Centered Maintenance, Reliability Control Program, Maintenance Planning and Life Cycle Costing. He has conducted various research in those area at GMF AeroAsia, Royal Dutch Airlines (KLM), Nusantara Turbine and Propulsion (PT NTP) and Indonesian Aerospace Company (IAe). He involves also in various projects in his research group. Mr. Edy Suwondo received his bachelor degree from the Aerospace Engineering ITB and his doctor degree from Aerospace Engineering, Delft University of Technology (TU Delft), The Netherlands. His doctor research was in the applications of Life Cycle Costing in maintenance area.

Maintenance Planning, Scheduling, Cost Control and Outage Management is designed to build competency in Work Control as a primary skill set in the Competency Map for Facilities Maintenance Management. The course will focus on the six phases of work management (work identification, planning, prioritization, scheduling, execution and history capture). Also covered will be: optimizing preventive and condition-monitoring activities, critical equipment analysis and critical spares control, managing shutdowns/turnarounds, emergency response work, and developing meaningful Key Performance Indicators. The objective of this course is to develop a sound understanding of work control so that delegates’ work management systems can be improved and streamlined to gain the results of higher productivity, greater equipment/process reliability, and lower operational costs. Critical issues, relevant to the participant’s own experiences, are identified and analyzed to maximize effectiveness and equipment care standards.

By the end of the program, participants will be able to:

  • Manage routine, corrective, as well as large scale preventive maintenance activities.
