TRAINING DESCRIPTION  ELECTRICAL AND MECHANICAL SAFETY

Accidents or fires which are prevalent in many companies is largely due to electricity. The most fatal consequences of the incident is the amount of material loss is very large. Actually this can be prevented if within a perusanaan attention to the rules of security, especially in this case in the field of electrical and mechanical.

With regard to the dangers of electrical and mechanical to workers, there are already separate standard, the OHSAS which require companies to provide education and training to the Electrical and Mechanical Safety workers. The employee must notify the company by his superiors (supervisors) if it finds dangers in the area of electrical and mechanical companies. Expected to attend “Electrical & Mechanical Safety” training program, and supported by competent instructors in the field, workers can know and understand the dangers of electricity and mechanical work in place so that the company would avoid fatal accidents at work and large losses due to fire or fatal events.

 

TRAINING OBJECTIVE ELECTRICAL AND MECHANICAL SAFETY

After participate this training, participants are expected to:

  1. Identify electrical and mechanical hazards in the workplace through the correct methods
  2. Understand the methods of use of electrical and mechanical equipment safely
  3. Knowing the effects of electric current on the human body, hazardous area classification, and isolation energy (LOTO)
  4. Can apply mechanical hazard prevention program (Machine Guarding)
