TRAINING INTRODUCTION:

A wellhead is a general term used to describe the component at the surface of an oil or gas well that provides the structural and pressure-containing interface for the drilling and production equipment. The primary purpose of a wellhead is to provide the suspension point and pressure seals for the casing strings that run from the bottom of the hole sections to the surface pressure control equipment. Once the well has been drilled, it is completed to provide an interface with the reservoir rock and a tubular conduit for the well fluids. The surface pressure control is provided by a christmas tree, which is installed on top of the wellhead, with isolation valves and choke equipment to control the flow of well fluids during production.

Ir.Endra Joelianto, Ph.D. is an expert in control engineering and industrial automation. His outstanding research is: Hybrid Control Systems, Discrete Event Control Systems, Petri Nets Analysis and Application on PLC, Robust and Advanced PID Controller and its implementation on PLC, DCS, Fieldbus, Industrial automation and Advanced Control System Designs. He received first degree (Ir.) in Engineering Physics in 1990 from Department of Engineering Physics, ITB and Doctor of Philosofy (PhD.) in Control Engineering in 2001 from Department of Engineering, The Australian National University, Canberra, Australia.  He is Head of Intelligent Control and Automation Laboratory and Coordinator of PLC Research Group for research and training, Engineering Physics Study Program and Instrumentation and Control Research Division, Institut Teknologi Bandung. He was Director of Schneider-OMRON PLC Training Center, Maranatha Christian University, Bandung.  He has attended several professional training on PLC, DCS and Instruments Callibration, such as: Yokogawa DCS, Bandung (2000), Implementation of Indonesian National Standard (SNI) 19-17025 and Basic Calibration, Yokogawa Electric Corporation, Bandung (2001), Fieldbus Foundation Technology, Singapore (2002), Basic and Advanced PLC Telemecanique-TWIDO, Bandung (2003), Basic and Advanced PLC OMRON, Jakarta (2004), Cleaner Production Application in Industries (Bandung 2005), Effective Energy Systems for Sustainable Development (Thailand 2006), Programming and Networking PLC Mitsubishi (2006), InTouch Wonderware, Wonderware Historian and Information Server (Bandung, 2012). He also has hosted Workshop on Industrial Automation (Bandung, 2002) and (Bandung, 2003), Workshop on Application of PLC in Industrial Automation (Bandung, 2003), National Workshop on Instrumentation & Control (2011) and many professional trainings on PLC, DCS, SCADA, Human Machine Interface and Industrial Process Control and Automation in Bandung. He was the project leader of Department of National Education TPSDP Retooling Program Batch II on Industrial Automation using PLC (2004). He is the chairman of National Student Competition on PLC Programming held regularly since 2007 in ITB. INTRODUCTION PEMBANGKIT dan PENGUKURAN LISTRIK TEGANGAN TINGGI

Ketersediaan dan kehandalan sumber daya energi dari daya listrik, menjadi kebutuhan yang sangat mendasar untuk menjamin keberlangsungan sebuah proses industri. Deliveri daya listrik yang besar menuju pusat-pusat beban adalah memerlukan metode tegangan tinggi dan arus tinggi, agar transmisi daya listrik tidak losses di jaringan tegangan tinggi (150kV hingga 700kV), jaringan tegangan menengah (690V hingga 20kV) dan jaringan tegangan rendah (110V hingga 400 V).

Infrastruktur untuk mendukung keberlangsungan deliveri daya listrik yang besar tersebut tentu saja diperlengkapi dengan proteksi terhadap gangguan eksternal yang umum di negara tropis seperti Indonesia yaitu petir atau surja petir, selain gangguan internal yang umum yaitu surja hubung. Kedua gangguan tersebut saat berlangsung harus tidak mengganggu keberlangsungan operasi sistem tenaga listrik.

Kursus ini memberikan pemahaman meluas bagaimana keberlangsungan sistem tenaga listrik pada level tegangan tinggi pada setiap bagian atau anatomi sistem tenaga listrik keseluruhan bilamana terdapat gangguan eksternal dan internal menjangkit ke dalam sistem dan bagaimana sistem proteksi bekerja pada sistem tanpa harus mengakibatkan sistem mati atau fail, sehingga batas bertahan sistem terhadap gangguan dapat dikelola secara baik diantaranya dari informasi hasil pengukuran dan sistem pengukuran yang melekat pada sistem tegangan tinggi tenaga listrik.

Distributed Control System (DCS) adalah suatu pengembangan system control dengan  menggunakan komputer dan alat elektronik lainnya agar didapat pengontrol suatu loop system yang lebih terpadu dan dapat dikendalikan oleh semua orang dengan cepat dan mudah.  DCS terhubung dengan sensor dan actuator serta menggunakan setpoint untuk mengatur aliran material dalam sebuah plant / proses

    1. Pendahuluan (pengertian, system satuan, proses pembentukan uap, penggunaan table uap, perpindahan panas).
    2. Bahan Bakar (cair, gas, padat).
    3. Peralatan Pembakaran (pembakaran untuk bahan bakar cair, gas dan padat, oil burner).
    4. Beberapa jenis ketel uap (klasifikasi boiler, ketel pipa api dan lorong api, ketel pipa air dengan desain biasa dan khusus).
    5. Komponen-komponen ketel uap (steam superheater, economizer, air preheater, alat pembersih ketel, dan dust collector / pracipator).
    6. Cerobong dan Ventilator.
    7. Operasi Boiler ( menjalankan dan mematikan)
    8. Perawatan Boiler (preventive maintenance, schedule maintenance dan predictive maintenance).

    Turbin Uap

    1. Pendahuluan (prinsip dasar, klasifikasi turbin, prinsip aksi dan reaksi turbin uap).
    2. Aliran uap melalui suatu tingkatan turbin ( transformasi energy pada sudut gerak tingkat implus dan reaksi, ekspansi uap di dalam nosel.
    3. Rugi-rugi pada turbin uap (klasifikasi kerugian turbin, kerugian pada katup pengatur pada nosel, pada sudu gerak, pada pemipaan, efisiensi turbin).

Pendahuluan Pelatihan Distributed Control System

Pelatihan ini memberikan pengetahuan tentang sistem pengaturan terdistribusi (distributed control system) yang merupakan suatu pengetahuan teknis yang banyak digunakan dalam suatu proses industri. Kursus ini memberikan gambaran dasar, definisi, teori dasar, perancangan, dan operasi dari suatu sistem  kontrol terdistribusi. Penjelasan dalam pelatihan akan memberikan pengetahuan mengapa perlu DCS dalam suatu proses produksi atau proses industri. Bagaimana dasar perencanaan suatu sistem kontrol terdistribusi, bagaimana kinerja antar unit dalam suatu DCS dan bagaimana mengevaluasi suatu rancangan DCS.
