Ir. Hendi Riyanto and Team

Ir. Hendi Riyanto  adalah seorang dosen di fakultas teknik mesin dan dirgantara Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) dalam kelompok keahlian konversi energy. Pak Hendi Riyanto mengikuti post-graduate bidang Mechanical Engineering dari Colorado State University. Beliau secara aktif melakukan penelitian di Kampus di bidang interes kompetensi Beliau, seperti Simulasi Monte Carlo untuk Analisis Radiasi, Aplikasi termoelektrik Cooler (TEC) untuk alat pendingin, Desain dan analisis komponen sistem pembangkit uap, Optimalisasi Desain Kotak Pendingin dengan Metode Taguchi, dll. Beliau juga memiliki pengalaman berinteraksi dengan dunia luar atau industry seperti keterlibatan dalam pengerjaan projek dan menjadi pembicara/instruktur di kelas-kelas training industry.

Compressors principles and their system performance however should be understood by operator and any person who get involved with them to increase performance of the operation, maintenance, safety, etc.



COMPRESSOR TRAINING OUTCOME:

In this training, compressor will be discussed from its principle, application, components and its maintenance. Moreover, their control system to improve performance and safety will also be introduced. After completion of this training participant will understand about the basic principle, application and control system that will help them for improving safety and problem solving on operation and maintenance activities.

 

COMPRESSOR TRAINING OUTLINE:

  1. FUNDAMENTALS:
    1. Explain the theory of air/gas compression.
    2. Describe how altitude and moisture affects the compression of air.
    3. Describe the principles of operation of positive displacement and dynamic compressor
    4. Define air compression terminology such as absolute and gauge pressures, compressor
    5. Displacement and compressor capacity, free air, volumetric efficiency, single and double acting, single and multistage.
    6. Given relative data, perform basic calculations to solve for compressor displacement and compressor volumetric efficiency.
  2. RECIPROCATING COMPRESSOR:
    1. State and describe the different types of single and multi-stage reciprocating compressors, state the function of the various compressor parts, including valves.
    2. Describe the methods employed to cool air or gas during compression.
    3. List and describe the different types of prime movers used for compressor.
  3. ROTARY COMPRESSOR: Describe the principles of operation, their application, volume and pressure capabilities, methods of regulation, advantages and disadvantages of the following types of (positive displacement) rotary compressors:
    1. sliding vane
    2. the lobe type
    3. roots type
    4. screw
    5. liquid-sealed
  4. CENTRIFUGAL AND AXIAL COMPRESSOR:
    1. Describe the design and operation of the volute and diffuser type centrifugal compressors.
    2. Describe the design and operation of the single-stage double-flow and the four-stage centrifugal compressors.
    3. Describe the design and operation of an axial flow compressor.
    4. State the causes and remedies of compressor surging.
  5. COMPRESSOR SYSTEM AUXILIARIES:
    1. Describe the design and operation of intercoolers and aftercoolers; state their location within the system, describe the maintenance requirements of these components.
    2. State the need for air receivers, their preferred location, and the inspection and maintenance requirements as per Code.
    3. Describe the use of air filters, list and provide a description of the different types commonly used.
  6. OPERATION, CONTROL AND MAINTENANCE:
    1. Explain the following methods employed to control compressor output:
      • Start/stop, dual control
      • Variable-speed
      • Suction line valve
      • Suction or discharge valve
      • Adjustable stroke
      • Variable clearance volume
    2. List and describe the operation of the various types of controllers and safety devices used in a compressed air system. Describe how these devices can be tested while system is in operation.
    3. Describe the internal and external methods of compressor lubrication.
    4. State the various operational checks done by an operator on both the compressor(s) and the compressed air/gas system to ensure safe and efficient operation.
    5. State the preventive maintenance requirements of compressors, auxiliaries, piping and receivers.
    6. State the probable causes of compressed air/gas compressor, receiver or pipeline explosions.
  7. ACT, REGULATIONS AND CODES: The candidate is expected to be able to locate information relating to the staffing, operation, maintenance, inspection, and testing of the compressor plant and its equipments.
  8. SAFETY: The candidate is expected to be able to fully explain the dangers associated with the operation of a compressor plant and all its components, and state the precautions to be taken to minimize or prevent such dangers.

Deskripsi Maintenance Manajemen

Maintenance Manajemen adalah suatu manajemen perawatan mesin yang mengulas tentang tata cara melakukan kegiatan maintenance mesin-mesin dalam suatu pabrik secara simple, terstruktur dan praktis.

Pelatihan ini sangat cocok sekali bagi seorang teknisi pemula yang berkecimpung dalam kegiatan maintenance atau suatu perusahaan yang mulai concern terhadap perawatan mesin atau bahkan suatu perusahaan yang bingung terhadap apa yang terjadi / apa yang akan dilakukan terhadap mesin-mesin yang merongrong kegiatan produksi. Pelatihan ini juga sangat baik sebagai bahan benchmarking terhadap implementasi kegiatan maintenance yang telah dijalankan.

Di dalam training ini akan dibahas tentang “8 Pilar Maintenance Manajemen” dimana di dalamnya akan membahas mulai dari bagaimana membuat sebuah Maintenance System secara terstruktur dan terintegrasi (bahkan dengan ISO 9001), Bagaimana membuat suatu maintenance plan, Bagaimana membuat keadaan ideal suatu mesin, Apa itu Quantity dan Quality of Maintenance, Bagaimana mengontrol Spare Part mesin melalui Spare Part Availability Management, Bagaimana cara membuat Maintenance dan Performance Report dari suatu mesin, Bagaimana melakukan suatu improvement dari suatu mesin sampai dengan bagaimana melakukan control terhadap biaya / cost dari suatu kegiatan maintenance.

Maintenance Manajemen ini telah diaplikasikan di dalam sebuah industri dan sanggup menurunkan break down machine sampai 50%, mengurangi personel maintenance sampai 40%, menjawab permasalahan ketersediaan spare part sampai dengan penurunan biaya maintenance hingga 50%.



Materi Maintenance Manajemen:

  • Triangle Maintenance System. Sistem yang mengintegrasikan Maitenance Sistem dengan persyaratan ISO 9001, Maintenance Regulataion, Maintenance Procedure, Plan Maintenance, Checklist and Reporting.
  • Ideal State of Machine. Mempelajari kondisi ideal suatu mesin berdasarkan metode Fundamental Function dan Fundamental Condition.
  • Quantity of Maintenance. Mempelajari cara melakukan manajemen terhadap jumlah mesin dan jumlah personel maintenance.
  • Quality of Maintenance. Mempelajari cara mengukur kualitas dari pekerjaan maintenance yang dilakukan oleh personel maintenance.
  • Spare Part Manajemen. Mempelajari manajemen spare part yang mengelola inventori spare part sehingga menjamin ketersediaan spare parts suatu mesin.
  • Machine Effectiveness Calculation. Mempelajari cara menghitung effectiveness suatu mesin, pembuatan control chart suatu kegiatan maintenance serta laporan performance suatu mesin / line.
  • Machine Improvement. Mempelajari cara melakukan improvement terhadap kerusakan mesin dengan menggunakan metode Pareto Chart
  • Maintenance Cost Manajemen. Mempelajari cara pengontrolan biaya yang dikeluarkan dalam kegiatan maintenance beserta cara melakukan cost down / penurunan biaya maintenance.

Beliau telah berkecimpung di dalam dunia industri kurang lebih 15 tahun. Maintenanance dan Produktifitas, 2 hal yang sangat berkaitan dan saling menunjang telah dikembangkan menjadi suatu sinergi yang hebat dalam suatu sistem manufacture.

Sejak tahun 1999 telah mempelajari dan mengetrapkan Konsep TPM dan Kaizen di dalam suatu industri. Kelebihan dan kekurangan dari implementasi TPM dan Kaizen ini telah dikenali dan diketemukan solusinya.

Awal tahun 2003, mendapatkan Sertificate TPM Basic dari Jepang dan disusul dengan penerimaan Sertificate TPM Advance juga dari Jepang pada akhir tahun 2004. Penerimaan sertificate tersebut tidak diperoleh secara teoritis saja tetapi juga dengan implementasi di Lapangan.

Tidak ketinggalan juga, Sertificate Kaizen Basic dan Advance juga telah diperoleh pada tahun 2001 dan 2005.

Berbekal pengalaman yang mendalam dan sertificate yang diperoleh, berbagai macam project telah berhasil dikerjakan dan berhasil dengan sukses. Project tersebut antara lain:

  1. Develop / training 25 group TPM dengan masing-masing group beranggotakan 5-8 orang dari tahun 2003 – 2006. Secara overall dengan TPM berhasil menurunkan Break Down rata-rata 15%, bahkan ada yang mencapai 40%.
  2. Develop / training 8 group Kaizen dengan masing-masing group beranggotakan 5-8 orang dari tahun 2001 – 2006. Secara overall dengan Kaizen, produktifitas dapat ditingkatkan rata-rata 20%.
  3. Presentasi tentang Keberhasilan TPM di Jepang pada tahun 2005.
  4. Pada November 2006 mendapat Medali Perak pada ICQCC, suatu konvensi international tentang QCC / SGA.
  5. Pada Februari 2007 menjadi pemenang ke-2 dalam lomba Best Practice Competition yang diselenggarakan oleh Omron Head Quarter di Kyoto-Japan.
  6. Sekarang sudah bergabung dengan ISSI Training dan Selnajaya Training sebagai Ascociate Trainer dan Productivity Consultant

LATAR BELAKANG

Reliability (keandalan), Availability (kesiapan pakai) dan Maintainability (kesiapan Rawat) adalah suatu istilah yang sering dipakai dalam program pemeliharaan peralatan/system baik pada tahap perancangan maupun operasi

Data keandalan (MTTF = mean time to failure, MTBF = mean time between failure) akan dievaluasi untuk setiap peralatan baik secara tersendiri maupun secara system.

Keandalan dari  system ditentukan dengan menggunakan block diagram  yang memperlihatkan susunan peralatan yang membentuk system (parallel atau serial)

Maintainability diasumsikan berdasarkan  data masa lalu dari peralatan/system yang sejenis  atau berdasarkan judgment.

Analisis sensitivitas dibahas untuk berbagai kasus MTTR (mean time to repair) termasuk juga dukungan logistic (part dan material) untuk mengevaluasi  factor yang menjadi penyebab utama  maintainability (kesiapan rawat) dan availability (kesiapan pakai)

 

TUJUAN

Setelah mengikuti pelatihan ini peserta diharapkan dapat :

  1. Memanaje peralatan secara lebih baik karena menggunakan data statistic yang bersifat kuantitatif

Ir. Akhmad Dimyati,MBA. was born December 12th 1954 in Bandung, He was graduated from Industrial engineering Institut Teknologi Bandung, ITB for his bachelor and from magister business administration ITB for his magister program. From 1982 – 2003 he worked at PT.INTI (persero) for some position, such as manager of production control, manager of quality audit, expert staff for development, manager of training and education/diklat, and unit head for small business development assistance. He was also as member of supervisory board for pension fund koperasi yayasan kesejahteraan pegawai at PT.INTI(persero). Since 1982 he has been as lecturer for university in Bandung at industrial engineering for bachelor and magister program.  Ir. Akhmad Dimyati, MBA. has followed many courses to improve his competencies. And now he is becoming trainer for industrial training for topics in his competencies, such as logistics management, project management, production management, Balanced Score Card, supply chain and warehousing management. Mr. Akhmad Dimyati has much real experiences and he also do consultation projects. With his complete knowledge and experiences he will share in his training class to participants.

DESKRIPSI TRAINING TOTAL PRODUCTIVE MAINTENANCE

Peningkatan keandalan (reliabilitas) operasi sangat dipengaruhi oleh perawatan dan pemeliharaan mesin dan peralatan secara terpadu, baik perawatan secara prediktive (predictive maintenance) maupun korektif (corective maintenance). Mesin atau alat-alat produksi yang beroperasi secara terus menerus tanpa perawatan akan menyebabkan umur teknis dan ekonomisnya menjadi berkurang. Maka dari itu para teknisi atau bagian maintenance perlu melakukan perawatan secara berkala agar tidak mengurangi produktivitas yang dihasilkan dan tidak mengganggu jalannya proses produksi.
