TRAINING INTRODUCTION

Reliability improvement is the focus in industry today. This is to insure the available of the products/ services which comply the demands. Many programs are designed to improve maintenance and reliability, but, the achieved results are rarely sustaining. This indicates that change is a difficult process and without proper attention to organizational culture, long-term successful change is not possible.

This course defines the culture, especially the organizational cultures. It elaborates the elements of culture, i.e. values, role models, rites and rituals, and cultural infrastructure. Then the discussion on the elements of change are following, i.e. leadership, work process, structure, group learning, technology, communication, interrelationships, and rewards. These two types of elements form a matrix which is the basis of the web of cultural change.

A tool has been developed for assessing the organizational culture with the objective to identify the root causes of the un-sustainability of the maintenance and reliability improvements. Recommendations for correction action can be derived from the results of the assessment.

TRAINING INSTRUCTOR

Dr. Ir. Edy Suwondo

Dr. Ir. Edy Suwondo is a lecturer at the Aerospace Engineering Department, Institute Technology of Bandung (ITB) and a member of the Aircraft Design, Operation and Maintenance Research Group, ITB. He has been working in the area of maintenance since 1992. His expertise is in Reliability Centered Maintenance, Reliability Control Program, Maintenance Planning and Life Cycle Costing. He has conducted various research in those area at GMF AeroAsia, Royal Dutch Airlines (KLM), Nusantara Turbine and Propulsion (PT NTP) and Indonesian Aerospace Company (IAe). He involves also in various projects in his research group. Mr. Edy Suwondo received his bachelor degree from the Aerospace Engineering ITB and his doctor degree from Aerospace Engineering, Delft University of Technology (TU Delft), The Netherlands. His doctor research was in the applications of Life Cycle Costing in maintenance area.

MAINTENANCE PLANNING, SCHEDULING & WORK CONTROL OVERVIEW

Maintenance Planning and Scheduling is designed to build competency in Work Control as a primary skill set in the Competency Map for Facilities Maintenance Management. The course will focus on the six phases of work management (work identification, planning, prioritization, scheduling, execution and history capture). Also covered will be: optimizing preventive and condition-monitoring activities, critical equipment analysis and critical spares control, managing shutdowns/turnarounds, emergency response work, and developing meaningful Key Performance Indicators. DESKRIPSI TRAINING MAINTENANCE MANAGEMENT

Maintenance Management adalah suatu manajemen perawatan mesin tentang tata cara melakukan kegiatan maintenance mesin-mesin dalam suatu pabrik secara efektif dan efisien. Perawatan merupakan bagian yang sangat penting guna menjamin keberlangsungan kegiatan produksi dari sebuah instalasi industri. Beragamnya jenis peralatan, teknologi yang digunakan, kondisi kerja peralatan dan sebagainya membuat jenis perawatannyapun sangat beragam, dimana setiap metoda perawatan akan sangat sesuai dengan kondisi spesifik peralatan maupun operasinya. Pada pelatihan ini peserta diharapkan akan mampu memahami jeis-jenis perawatan serta peneraannya di industri, sehingga dapat menganalisa ataupun memahami metoda perawatan yang dilaksanakannya.

Latar Belakang Pelatihan K3 Teknisi Lift

Lift Sebagai alat angkut orang dan barang pada suatu ketinggian mengandung potensi bahaya dan dapat menimbulkan kecelakaan kerja yang dapat mengakibatkan cedera manusia dan kerusakan harta benda. Data kecelakaan menunjukan bahwa penyebab kecelakaan lift sebagaian besar disebabkan oleh faktor manusia/teknisi yang kurang memiliki pengetahuan dalam pemeliharaan dan perawatan lift

Untuk mencegah terjadinya kecelakaan lift, telah ditetapkan Peraturan Menteri Tenaga Kerja R.I. No. Per.03/Men/1999 tentang persyaratan, yang mensyaratkan adanya Surat Ijin Operasi bagi setiap Teknisi Lift yang dikeluarkan dari Kantor Menteri Tenaga Kerja dan Transmigrasi R.I

DESKRIPSI TRAINING TURBIN UAP

Turbin Uap (Steam Turbine) berfungsi sebagai penggerak generator listrik, pompa, kompresor, dsb. Fungsi utamanya sama seperti motor, yaitu menghasilkan gaya gerak, yang membedakan antara turbin uap dan motor adalah sumber energi yang digunakan. Jika motor menggunakan sumber energi listrik,  turbin uap mengunakan energi yang tersimpan pada steam yang berupa tekanan dan panas. Berdasarkan kondisi uap yang dikeluarkan (steam condition), turbin uap dibagi menjadi dua tipe, yaitu Turbin Condensing & Turbin Back Pressure.
Turbine memerlukan perawatan yang ekstra dalam penggunaanya serta diperlukan sistem pengamanan yang tepat untuk menjaga agar tidak terjadi sesuatu yang tidak diinginkan pada turbin dan alat-alat yang berhubungan dengannya. Dalam pelatihan ini, peserta akan dikenalkan mengenai prinsip dasar sistem turbin uap, kinerja turbin uap, dan teknik pengoperasian dan pemeliharaannya.
